As a competitive fisherman for over 8 years, I have had to face the elements up and down the east coast. When the fish are biting- you must go- regardless of the weather. During the spring and the fall in North Carolina, the weather can be very unpredictable. Ranging anywhere from 30 to 75 degrees in a week- you have to be prepared for anything. The Columbia Men’s PFG Gale Warning Parka and the Omni-Hear Gale Warning Bib have made this transitional weather the least of my worries. They have withstood thunderstorms without a leaky seam and have kept me warm when the cold winds have blown in. These pieces are so warm- I can fish and move around the boat comfortably without having to wear multiple layers of clothing underneath. I would recommend this line to any one who fishes in the elements.
